Learn to Breathe

A bit about my meditation and breath work sessions

My breathing and meditation sessions are grounded in both traditional practice and modern understanding of the nervous system.

I have studied Buddhist philosophy and contemplative practice, but my teaching is practical and accessible. Meditation is not presented as escape — it is training. Training attention, awareness and response.

We work with the mechanics of breathing, carbon dioxide tolerance, vagal tone and autonomic regulation. You will understand what is happening in your body, not just follow instructions.

Because of my background in movement and performance, I also incorporate visualisation techniques drawn from sports psychology. These tools are used to improve focus, resilience, recovery and self-belief. Visualisation is not fantasy — it is neural rehearsal.

Sessions may focus on:

  • Stress relief and resilience

  • Performance readiness

  • Emotional regulation

  • Habit change

  • Techniques for sleep

I teach adults, athletes, companies and children. In schools, the emphasis is on simple, embodied tools that young people can use immediately — breathing for calm, attention training and emotional literacy.

Online, I am one of the top teachers on Insight Timer, where thousands of students practise my guided sessions regularly.

Whether in a studio, classroom or digital space, my approach remains the same:

Clear. Grounded. Science-informed. Human.

You won’t be asked to believe anything.
You’ll be given tools you can use.
